FLORIDA BAR NEWS ARTICLE: "Barry sets free climate change seminar"

Jointly sponsored by Barry Law Review and the Center for Earth Jurisprudence, this symposium explored legal and ethical implications of the clarion call issued to humanity by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that, "What we will do in the next two or three years will determine our future." The United Nations has answered this call by recently launching an ambitious and innovative program to work with the world’s major faiths to tackle climate change. This critically needed gathering featured lawyers, scholars and practitioners who discussed the foundations of law and governance that can facilitate the development of new jurisprudence and applications of legal strategies that address the long-term health of our planet at risk.
